Christine Ohurougu, MBE
Christine Ijeoma Ohuruogu // , MBE (born 17 May 1984) is a British former track and field athlete who specialised in the 400 metres, the event for which she is an Olympic, World and Commonwealth champion.
I have been a great supporter of Arco for many years; I respect wholeheartedly what they stand for - helping young people achieve regardless of their circumstances. As an Ambassador for Arco, I have enjoyed the close connection with the school, meeting and working with the student athletes and advocating for the school in the wider community. I have loved seeing the profound impact Arco has had on the students that have attended. Where other schools are not able, Arco is able and gives young people an opportunity to be enterprising members of the community.
