What is an alternative school?

Are your teachers qualified?

How do I enrol?

Enrolment can occur through a local authority referral if the child has an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan), or through a referral from a mainstream school. Alternatively, parents can apply directly, though this process may incur a fee.

Who can make a referral?

Referrals can be made by local authorities, mainstream schools, social care, and parents or guardians of students who believe that an alternative educational setting would be beneficial.

Is there a sixth form?

Currently, Arco Academy does not offer a sixth form programme. However, we provide comprehensive support for students as they transition into further education or training.

How do I book a visit?

We only accept visits prior to an induction meeting from students with an EHCP. If your child has an EHCP, you may book a visit via our bookings page: Book a Visit.
