Provisions
At Arco Academy, we’ve seen significant changes over the past few years and have adapted to better meet our students' needs. To ensure each student accesses the right learning environment and benefits fully from our offerings, we’ve created specialised provisions within our school:
Co-ed Group:
For mixed-gender students in Key Stage 3 and 4, including those who are neurodiverse but require minimal intervention. This provision supports students who benefit from a traditional classroom setting while accommodating diverse learning needs. It offers a balanced approach with a focus on both academic and sports opportunities.
Girls Group:
Designed for Key Stage 3 and 4 girls, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, school refusers, or additional needs. This therapeutic-informed group offers a supportive environment tailored to help students who require a more focused approach to their education.
Higher Needs Group:
For Key Stage 3 and 4 students with needs that fall between mainstream and special schools. This group supports students with conditions such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH, providing intensive intervention and extra support beyond what is available in the Co-ed Group.
Hybrid Learning Group:
For Key Stage 3 and 4 students who need flexible learning options due to various reasons, including professional sports commitments or medical needs. This provision offers a blended curriculum that adapts to individual schedules and learning requirements.
Each provision is designed to offer the right support and learning environment to help every student succeed. We also offer academic and sports scholarships across all groups to further support our students’ aspirations. Explore how our tailored provisions can make a difference in your educational journey.
